I enjoy designing plans to protect our clients, but more than that, I love people (most of the time). Though I've had my share of heartaches, like losing a long-term client, nothing gives me more joy than bringing reassurance during a crisis or saving someone a life-changing amount of money. I started my career at Farm Bureau Insurance in 1988, serving Douglas County Farmer & Ranchers. In 1996, I departed to pursue a dream: establishing an insurance agency focused on advocating for our clients rather than being a puppet for an insurance company. My goal was to empower our clients by giving them a collective voice, akin to unionizing. Today, when a client encounters an issue, we not only speak for them but also for the 100’s of our clients with that insurer. Moreover, we have the flexibility to add insurers who may better suited to our clients’ needs, so we’re always looking for better ways to serve our clients. Nearly three decades later, it’s incredibly fulfilling to see my vision realized, with clients who are not just customers but valued members of the Premier Insurance family.
